Garlic and Herb Pizza

I usually throw this pizza together when we need a side dish for a meal… Its super quick and easy.

What you need…

  • 1 Pizza Base, I quite lazy and just use a frozen pizza base, but if you have time and are patient you can make your own
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme, chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons Parsley
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1-2 cups cheese

*note* i use fresh herbs, but dry herbs work perfectly as well!

What you do…

  1. Cover the pizza base in tomato paste
  2. Spread garlic and herbs over base
  3. Cover with tomato slices
  4. spread cheese over evenly
  5. place in oven for 5-8 minutes – depending on your oven

Creamy Garlic and Vegetable Pasta

I was in a major rush the other night, and needed a really quick meals… so I threw this recipe together :)…

What You Need…

  • 2ooml thickened cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 200 grams penne pasta
  • 2 tomatoes,  chopped
  • 1/2- 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 a large capsicum, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, diced

What you do…

  1. fry vegetables in olive oil until cooked.
  2. heat cream and garlic together on stove, but be careful not to let it boil.
  3. Once sauce is heated through add chopped parsley
  4. Cook pasta
  5. Serve by placing vegetables on pasta, and pouring the cream sauce over top…

This recipe serves 2.
